It is ILLEGAL to pass, from either direction, a stopped school bus, if it has its overhead red lights flashing.
You must stop and wait until the bus moves off, before proceeding.
This applies to the school bus loop in the school parking lot as well. Violators will be reported; the fine is $345 and 6 demerit points.
